About Jaeden
Background & expertise
Jaeden Schafer is the founder and editor in chief of AI Chat Daily, and the host of AI Chat — the daily AI news podcast that broke into the top 10 of Apple’s Business News charts and has been ranked among the most-listened-to AI shows on Spotify. He launched AI Chat in 2022, just weeks after ChatGPT’s public release, betting early that there would be a massive audience for a tight, daily briefing on what was actually shipping in artificial intelligence. That bet turned into a four-show podcast network with more than ten million combined downloads: AI Chat (daily news), AI Applied (tools and analysis with Conor Grennan), AI Hustle (the business of AI, co-hosted with Jamie McCauley), and AI in Faith (technology and Christianity).
Before the podcasts, Jaeden co-founded Selfpause, a self-talk and affirmations app he built with his wife Jillian that has grown to more than 120,000 users. He is also the CEO and co-founder of AI Box, a no-code platform for building AI apps and chatbots without writing code, which raised a $600K pre-seed round and has been featured by Apple as an App of the Day. His work has been covered in outlets including Yahoo Finance, Entrepreneur, and Business Insider, and he publishes a daily AI newsletter, The Prompt, read by operators and founders across the industry.
A Marketing graduate of Brigham Young University–Hawaii, Jaeden is based in Phoenix, Arizona, where he also runs the AI Hustle Skool community — a 250-plus-member group of builders, founders, and agency owners who ship AI products together. He’s built his career on a simple editorial rule: no hype cycles, no sponsor-driven takes, just what shipped, what broke, and what it means. That’s the lens he brings to AI Chat Daily every morning.
