Anthropic is putting $100 million into a new Claude Partner Network in 2026, a program built to push consultancies and systems integrators deeper into enterprise Claude rollouts. The launch, announced March 12, bundles a technical certification, dedicated engineering support, and co-marketing dollars for partner firms. Accenture says it is training 30,000 of its professionals on Claude, and Cognizant has opened Claude access to roughly 350,000 associates.

The $100M is an initial figure for the year, and Anthropic says it expects to invest more over time. A meaningful share will flow directly to partners as funding for training, sales enablement, customer-deployment work, and joint campaigns. Anthropic is also scaling its partner-facing team fivefold, attaching Applied AI engineers to live deals and technical architects to more complex implementations.

The launch slots in alongside Anthropic's existing partner footprint. Claude is the only frontier model available on all three leading clouds — AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft — and the company already works with large consultancies and specialist AI firms. The new network formalizes that motion with a Partner Portal stocked with Anthropic Academy training materials and the sales playbooks Anthropic's own go-to-market team uses internally.

Key facts

  • 01Anthropic launched the Claude Partner Network on Mar 12, 2026 with an initial $100M commitment for the year.
  • 02Accenture is training 30,000 professionals on Claude through the program.
  • 03Cognizant has opened Claude access across roughly 350,000 associates globally.
  • 04Anthropic is scaling its partner-facing team fivefold, adding Applied AI engineers and technical architects.
  • 05The first certification, Claude Certified Architect, Foundations, is available to partners today.

The first credential, Claude Certified Architect, Foundations, is live today for solution architects building production applications on Claude. Anthropic says additional certifications for sellers, architects, and developers will follow later in the year, with priority access for partners who join now. Qualified firms will also appear in a Services Partner Directory aimed at enterprise buyers.

Anthropic is shipping a Code Modernization starter kit alongside the program, targeting legacy-codebase migration and technical-debt remediation. Steve Corfield, Anthropic's head of global business development and partnerships, called partners "instrumental in getting enterprises from proof of concept to production with Claude" and said the $100M is meant to prove the company's commitment to the ecosystem.

The early partner roster is heavy on the global system integrators that dominate enterprise IT spend. Accenture's Alex Holt said the firm is training 30,000 staff "because that's what it takes to meet the demand we're seeing," and that the network's certification and co-selling structure matches how Accenture builds practices. Deloitte's Ranjit Bawa said the program helps formalize training, industry solutions, and deployment guidance already underway.

Cognizant is the most aggressive on raw user count. Sandra Notardonato, who runs global partnership development at the firm, said Cognizant has opened Claude access across an organization of roughly 350,000 associates and is embedding the model into client modernization work. Infosys, through its Anthropic Center of Excellence, is using Claude Code in delivery work, according to executive vice president Anand Swaminathan.

The numbers map onto a broader Anthropic playbook AI Chat Daily has been tracking. The company recently deployed Claude to 30,000 employees at NEC to seed Japan's largest AI engineering team, expanded its Google and Broadcom pact for multi-gigawatt TPUs against a $30B revenue mark, and grew its Amazon agreement to as much as 5GW of compute with $25B in additional investment. The partner network is the services-layer counterpart to that compute buildout.

The risk for Anthropic is the usual one in channel programs: scale without quality. Pushing tens of thousands of newly trained consultants into enterprise deployments invites uneven implementations, and the Services Partner Directory only works if buyers can tell a real Claude practice from a freshly stamped one. The certification track and the embedded Applied AI engineers are meant to manage that, but the proof will be in pilot-to-production conversion rates Anthropic has not disclosed.

The strategic logic is straightforward. OpenAI just signed Infosys to carry ChatGPT and Codex into 60-plus markets; Microsoft and Google have their own integrator armies. A $100M check, a certification ladder, and a fivefold-larger partner team is Anthropic's bid to make sure that when a Fortune 500 buyer asks its consultancy which model to standardize on, Claude is the answer the consultancy is staffed and paid to give.
