EXL, the Nasdaq-listed data and AI company, said on November 5 that it has acquired Aimpoint Digital, a data and AI consulting and platform engineering firm. The deal adds approximately 250 AI engineers, platform architects, analytics consultants, decision scientists and AI strategists to EXL. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Aimpoint Digital builds enterprise data and AI platforms and has deep expertise with partners Anthropic, Databricks and Snowflake, according to EXL's announcement. EXL described the transaction as completed and did not give a separate closing timeline.
EXL is pitching the deal as a fix for a specific bottleneck: many organizations struggle to move AI from pilot projects to production-scale value, and the company said demand for strategic data and AI work outpaces the talent available to do it.
“Clients require a partner who can take them from AI ambition to impact at enterprise scale”— Rohit Kapoor, Chairman and CEO of EXL
